2005

- 2004 filly by UNBRIDLED'S SONG out of CAHOOTERS tops the Keeneland January sale. 

 

The gray filly becomes the fourth highest priced yearling filly ever sold at the January Sale venue, and the sixth highest priced yearling in the history of the sale.

2000-2004

- 2004: Sold highest ever UNBRIDLED'S SONG yearling.  Gaines-

   Gentry 2003 colt by UNBRIDLED'S SONG out of CRUISING HAVEN sold

   at the 2004 Keeneland September Yearling Sale for $2,800,000 - the

   most ever paid for a yearling by the sire.  Gaines-Gentry sold an

   UNBRIDLED'S SONG filly out of TOWERING SUCCESS at the same

   sale for $1,250,000.

 

- 2002: Gaines-Gentry bred IMPERIAL GESTURE wins G1 Beldame.  

   By LANGFUHR out of HONOR AN OFFER, second rated 3-year-old filly  of 2002 won     (Above: Imperial Gesture)

   both the G1 Beldame and the G1 Gazelle on the way to becoming a millionaire earner of  

   $1,149,140.

- 2002: Gaines-Gentry bred CALLER ONE becomes

   all-time leading sprinter earning $3,184,500 by

   winning the G1 Golden Shaheen (UAE).

  

 - 2000: Sold the 2000 Keeneland November Sale

   Topper.   The 2000 colt by STORM CAT out of

   NOW THAT'S FUNNY sold for $1,200,000 to be the 

   highest selling weanling of the sale.

1992-1999

- 1999: Gaines-Gentry bred EXPLOIT, the early Kentucky

   Derby favorite, won the G2 San Vicente.  After a career ending

   injury, the son of STORM CAT out of MY TURBULENT MISS

   was retired to Taylor Made Farm where he was syndicated at

   a value of $10,000,000.

 

- 1998: Owner of Kentucky Derby favorite and  G1 Santa

   Anita Derby winner INDIAN CHARLIE.  Later syndicated,

   INDIAN CHARLIE is a consistent sire of precocious

   1993 Kentucky Derby for Paul Mellon.
