Thomas Gaines. Mr. Gaines has been involved in the Thoroughbred
industry since childhood. After graduating from Georgetown
University in 1990, he lived and worked in Prague, Czechoslovakia
before returning to Lexington, Kentucky to assume responsibility in
various family and personal business interests. Mr. Gaines is
currently president of KBC International (a pharmaceutical and
equestrian supply distribution business). As a resident of
Lexington, Kentucky, Mr. Gaines has worked closely with his father,
John R. Gaines, in both the inception and development of
Gaines-Gentry Thoroughbreds and is currently a director of that
company.
Olin
B. Gentry. Mr. Gentry's background in the Thoroughbred industry
began in early childhood. He has been involved in all aspects of the
Thoroughbred industry for the past 25 years. Mr. Gentry's many
skills include a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics, and
the commercial appeal of particular bloodlines. Mr. Gentry has
served as General Manager for the Gaines-Gentry Team since its
inception in 1992 and is currently serving as the President and
Chief Executive Officer of that company.
